☞ 이거: This means "this."
 얼마예요?: This is the part that translates to "How much"

So, when you find that perfect item and want to know the price, just point and ask, "이거 얼마예요?" 

In a Shop:
You find a beautiful piece of Korean pottery, and you want to know the price. Point to it and ask, "이거 얼마예요?"

 

A: 이거 얼마예요?
(How much is this?)

B: 1천 원입니다.
(It's 1,000 won.)

A: 그럼, 저것은 얼마예요?
(Then, how much is that?)

B: 그 기념품은 5천 원입니다.
(That souvenir is 5,000 won.)
